Downer, Bessie #3 (1913)

Roy Wright is all right, married or single, but he looks fine in double harness. We saw him in that shape leaving for the Saskatchewan District of Canada yesterday. His helpmate is she who was Miss Bessie Downer, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Downer, and they were united in the holy bonds of matrimony by the Hon. Judge O.W. Schoengarth in his official parlors yesterday morning between leaving here on the freight and leaving there on the passenger at 11:25 a.m. Mr. and Mrs. Neil Downer attended the happy pair through the ceremony. That theirs may be a happy and prosperous journey through the balance of life together is the wish of the News.
