Mrs. Herman Roehl spent last Thursday afternoon with Effie Davis.
Mrs. Geo. Frei has been confined to her bed since last Friday with a swelling on her neck, back of her ear, which is thought to be caused from a cold.
Saturday was cold, snowy, gusty day. Not much doing that day.
Frank Davis, wife and daughter, spent Sunday at Truman Davis’.
Quite a few of Herman Roehl’s friends gave he and his wife a surprise Thursday evening in honor of their fifth wedding anniversary and presented them with a fine couch and several other things. The ladies brought refreshments and a fine time was had by all.
Joe Krause and family, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Foemmel, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Roehl called on Mrs. Frei on Sunday.
William Foemmel and John Heft butchered for John Frei.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Johnson spent Sunday at Thurman Davis’.
Mrs. Ackerman and daughter Ella arrived in Chicago Thursday where she will spent several days with her daughter, Mrs. Eilers, before coming home.
Will Roehl is helping his brother Herman move this week.
Joe Krause helped Alfred Johnson haul up poles this week.
F.F. Lee and wife spent several days of last week at the Cash ide and John Pietenpol homes.
Geo. Huntley and family called at the A. Johnson home one evening last week.
Mrs. W. Foemmel called on Mrs. Frei on Monday.
Effie Davis spent Wednesday afternoon with Clara Roehl.
