Very nice weather at this writing, but not much snow in the road for sleighing.

The fox hunters were out on Sunday night again with their same luck of catching colds instead of catching the fox.

Mr. and Mrs. Rice Davis of Granton called at D.H. Rhines’ Monday and purchased a Jersey cow which is a dandy.

D. Ross was called to the C.E. Reed home Thursday as their little son Carl was taken very sick with indigestion, but at this writing is improving.

Geo. Reindel and family visited at the D.H. Rhines’ Sunday.

We had quite a snowstorm Friday, and all you can see is a bare road and snow on the sides and in the fields, so it is hard to tell where to start out with wagon or sleigh.

H. Fradette helped Frank Potter finish hauling his baled hay Monday to Neillsville.

G.A. Wilson was at Marshfield between trains on Saturday.

We understand Mr. W.J. Thayer has purchased the hardware store and stock of Knorr & Rausch of Granton.  We will lose another of our good neighbors.  We are sorry to see Mr. and Mrs. Thayer leave our midst but we will wish them all the success we can.

G.A. Wilson and F.D. Potter have returned from Sheboygan County after having seen some very fine cattle, of which the two gentlemen purchased a few of the good registered stock.  They say they must, before long, have more, as they say what is good for Sheboygan County is none too good for them.

D.H. Rhines was taken suddenly ill last Thursday with an attack of appendicitis, but at this writing is a little better.

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Henze of Plymouth visited a few days at the home of C.E. Reed and family.  Mr. Henze is looking for a small farm so he will have another Sheboygan County neighbor in Clark County, which goes to show that land in Clark County, which is very nearly a s good as it is in Sheboygan County.

Wayne Potter was called to N.J. Thayer’s Sunday with his photo outfit, as the people know where they can get good work and not have to wait 4 months for the pictures.
