Freezy, Petrine (Marriage –1963)
Nuptial vows were exchanged Saturday in the Methodist Church in Marengo, Ill., uniting in marriage Miss Petrine Freezy of Neillsville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lueck, of Neillsville, and Donald Peterson, son of Mrs. Marcella Carey of Marshfield. The candlelight service was performed by the Rev. Harold George.
The couple’s attendants were a brother-in-law and sister of the bride, Mr. and Mrs. Gene Dyer of Marengo.
The bride was attired in a ballerina-length gown of white chiffon over satin. Her fingertip veil cascaded from a satin halo crown. She carried a bridal bouquet of white carnations and pink rose buds.
Mrs. Dyer wore a ballerina-length dress, styled with a bubble skirt and a lace-over-taffeta jacket. Her bouquet consisted of white carnations with aqua centers.
Following the ceremony a reception for 50 guests was held at the Dyer home.
The couple has left on a wedding trip to the southern states and will reside in southern California, where Mr. Peterson will do construction work.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Lueck of Neillsville attended the wedding.
