Tomczak, Albert (21 MAR 1870 - 7 FEB 1959)
Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Rev. Leon Dobrzanski at St. Mary’s Polish National Church at Lublin, for Albert Tomczak of the Town of Roosevelt, who passed away at the Memorial Hospital at Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.) on Feb. 7, 1959, of cancer.
Mr. Tomczak, a retired farmer of this community for many years, was born in Poland on March 21, 1870, and had reached the ripe old age of 88 years, 11 months and 16 days.
His wife, Apolonia, passed away May 9, 1926, and two sons, Joseph and Theodore, also preceded him in death.
Surviving are four sons, Stanley of Chicago, John and Casimer of Thorp, and Wencil of Detroit; three daughters, Mrs. Wanda Losiewicz of Thorp, Mrs. Pearl Furmanck of Gilman and Mrs. Victoria Uher of Phillips.
Interment took place in the East Thorp Cemetery at Thorp. Pallbearers were Joe Slachetka, Frank Bandach, Edward Bandach, John Schultz, Walter Szymoniak and Walter Ruda.
