Greenwood (27 June 1963)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stark and family moved Saturday from the Dave Reese house to Neillsville, where he is employed.

 

Bill Hare, 10-year-old-son of Mr. and Mrs. Merril Hare, underwent a tonsillectomy Monday in Marshfield.

 

Pvt. David Bushman, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Bushman, has completed his course in engineering, received his discharge and arrived here Saturday from Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Adams entertained relatives at a picnic supper at Mead Lake Sunday in honor of the sixth birthday of their daughter, Carol. Guests were her grandparents, Mrs. Carl Stabnow of Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Adams and daughter, Barbara of Neillsville.  Others present were: Mr. and Mrs. Duane Marg and family of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Richard Syth and daughters, Kristi and Patricia, of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Krultz and daughter, Lorie of Willard; and William Stabnow.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Turnquist and her father, Henry Olson, spent Friday at Cameron at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Meyer, and attended the celebration of the birthday of Mrs. Hilda Sasada of Alexandria, Va.  Mrs. Sasada and Helmer Hembre of California are guests at the home of their sister, Mrs. Orlando Meyer.  All are former Greenwood residents.
