Romadka (12 May 1911)
School commenced in this district the first of May with Miss Marion Smith as teacher.
Mrs. Fred Frank and daughter from Lindsey spent several days with her mother Mrs. E. Canfield.
Wilson Mallory has been around here the past few weeks visiting friends.
Mr. and Mrs. E. Mueller and children visited at Fred Schlinsog’s Sunday.
Art Johnston spent a couple days at Marshfield on business.
The farmers are now busy preparing the ground for corn planting. The area planted will be twice as much in this vicinity this year as it was last year.
Herman Garbisch lost a colt.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Schlinsog and children and Miss Handt were over at Ernest Neinas’ Sunday.
Willie Bealer from the county line visited his best girl at Herman Garbisch’s, Sunday.
Mr. and Mrs. C. Winn were shopping at Granton Monday.
Mrs. Wm. Smith is reported to be under the care of Dr. Ross.
James Scoles’ mother who visited relatives at Humbird for several days returned home on Tuesday.
Albert Strey who is work for his brother-in-law near West Bend came up last week to look after his farm and doing some necessary work. He returned to his duties again Tuesday night.
