Richmond, Sharon (Marriage - 22 June 1963)
Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Dux have returned from their wedding trip to Yellowstone National Park and are residing at 302 Oak St., in Neillsville. Mr. Dux and the former Sharon Richmond were married June 22 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dux of R. 2 Neillsville, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Richmond of Rt. 3 Neillsville.
Mr. Richmond gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a chapel entrained gown, the bouffant skirt of which was styled with tiers of Chantilly lace and pleated tulle. The Basque bodice featured a Sabrina neckline. A fingertip veil was attached to a rose headpiece. Her bridal bouquet consisted of pink roses with white lilies-of-the-valley.
Miss Nancy Richmond attended her sister as maid-of-honor. Bridesmaids were Karen Roht of Mukwonago, Grace Fischer of Manitowoc and Sarah Richmond of Neillsville.
The groom’s attendants were Philip Hoeser of Neillsville as bestman, Herbert Nemitz of Neillsville, Dale Bartz of Janesville, and Derril Lambert of St. Paul, Minn. Ushers were Roger Meihak and Donald Richmond.
Mr. and Mrs. Dux are both graduates of Neillsville High School. Mrs. Dux graduated from Stout State College and will teach this fall at Milton High School. Mr. Dux is an employee of the Clark County Highway Department.
