Polak, Angeline (2 AUG 1891 - 18 FEB 1959)

 

Funeral services were held at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church at Lublin at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 21st, for Mrs. Angeline S. Polak, 67, who passed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Chippewa Falls, on Feb. 18, 1959.

 

The former Angeline Czyszczon was born in Poland on Aug. 2, 1891.  She came to the United States in 1912 and settled in Minnesota for six years before coming to Taylor Count, Wis. in 1918.  She was united in marriage to Jacob Polak on June 26, 1916 at Holy Cross Church in Minneapolis.  Her husband preceded her in death.

 

Surviving her are three sons, Chester J. Polak of Minneapolis, and Edward F. and Anthony Polak of Chicago; four daughters, Rose, Mrs. Stanley Sromek of Gilman, Emily, Mrs. Walter F. Biernat and Harriet, Mrs. Richard H. Milstroh of Minneapolis, and Mary, Mrs. Vincent Slowiak of Chicago; one brother, John Czyszczon and one sister, Mary Czyszczon in Poland.

 

Burial was made in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.  Pallbearers were Peter Sromek, Walter Ryzer, Adam Pawlicki, Peter Siok, Tony Pawlicki, and Walter Hendzel.

 

Relatives here to attend the funeral were Chester Polak, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Biernat, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Milstroh and family of Minneapolis, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Polak, Mr. and Mrs. Tony Polak and Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Slowiak of Chicago, and friends from Abbotsford, Lublin, Boyd, Stanley and Cornell.
