That article in the Skeeter Park news last week telling of the bravery of a woman who caught a live mouse in her bare hands and then threw it out of a window, is only duce high compared to the woman who caught 15 mice and tied their tails together and wore them as a necklace in place of beads.  The name of the lady and where she lived has slipped our mind.

Mr. A. Luke bought a horse and a cow of Richard Gotter one day last week.

Mrs. Louis Knoop spent a few days with relatives at Pine Valley last week.

Charles Guk, a native of Turkeystan, has been appointed a peace envoy by the foreign powers and will soon leave for Constantinople and report for duty.

School will close Friday, March 14^th for a two week vacation.

Mr. and Mrs. Emil Lindow and son Raymond spent Sunday afternoon at W. Albrecht’s.

Mrs. Fred Lichte and children Hilda and Walter returned home last Saturday from a week’s visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Schlinsog.

It is reported that Charley Lempke had the misfortune to break his leg while helping E. Conrad haul sand last Thursday.

Among those who spent their time snow-balling at Chili last Saturday was John Hefty.  Better cut that out John, you are not built right for that kind of business.  Your dimensions are too broad, which leaves you an easy mark to hit.
