Arneson, Roselia (1 SEP 1895 - 4 MAR 1959)
Mrs. Alfred Arneson, former resident of Stanley, died at the Owen Rest home in Owen Thursday night. She had been a resident at the home for about two weeks.
Mrs. Arneson was born Roselia Marie Anderson on Sept. 1, 1895, the daughter of John and Gusta Anderson, in Lafayette County, Wis. The family moved to the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1923 and on March 22, 1924 she married Alfred Arneson of Barneveld, Wis.
The family moved to the Stanley area in 1927. Mr. and Mrs. Arneson retired about four years ago.
Among the survivors are her husband; three sons, Ray, with the U.S. Air Force in Michigan; Alvin, Stanley; and Alwood of Conrad.
Also surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Gladys) Konwinski, Chippewa Fall, five brothers, Marshall of Newport, Fla., Oscar, Charles, Elmer and Julian Anderson of Stanley; two sisters, Mrs. Herman (Laura) Anason, Willette, Calif., and Mrs. Harry (Norma) Witt, Stanley.
Her parents and one brother preceded her in death.
