A farewell party was held Wednesday evening in Grace Methodist Church in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Fonstad, who will leave soon to reside in Mauston. Mr. and Mrs. Fonstad were presented with a going-away gift from their many friends. The Fonstad children, Clifton, Jr., Mary and Ricky, also received a gift each from the Youth Fellowship group. Wilbur Stewart showed slides, which included scenes from Wisconsin and Michigan, and local pictures. A lunch was served.
Mrs. James Suda and children of Gurnee, Ill., are spending two weeks here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kitzhaber. Other Sunday guests were sisters and brothers of Mrs. Suda; Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kitzhaber and family of Mosinee; Mr. and Mrs. Mike Klapatauskas and family of Willard; Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Rogillio; Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Kitzhaber and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Kitzhaber and family.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Brey and family spent Sunday in Tomahawk with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brey.
Mrs. Caroline Horn, Mrs. John Wuethrich and Miss Isadore Shields attended the funeral of Mrs. Bertha Pickruhn in Loyal Saturday afternoon.
