Sorenson, Louis #2 (18 MAY 1904 - 12 MAR 1959)

 

Louis Sorenson, aged 54 years, passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 12th, 1959, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield, where he had been a patient for two weeks.

 

Louis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Sorenson, was born on May 18, 1904 at Lake Crystal, Minn. one of a family of eleven children.  Since August 31st, 1946 he has been employed at Foremost Blue Moon Co. at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis.

 

Memorial services were held at Hoeper and Kraut Funeral Home at Owen on Sunday afternoon, March 15th at 2 p.m., with Rev. M. Mikkelsen of Minneapolis, Minn., conducting the services.

 

"The Old Rugged Cross" was sung by Mrs. Jan Phillips and also "our Father has Light in His Window," with Louise Hansen as organist.

 

The deceased was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.

 

Surviving relatives are a son, jerry, and a daughter, Beverly, both of So. St. Paul, Minn., two brothers, Fred of Withee and Ole of Mankato, and four sisters, Ella Kennedy of Roundup, Mont., Ann Ekle of Stanwood, Wash., Edith Jensen of Staten Island, N.Y., and Hazel Chamberlain of So. St. Paul, Minn.

 

Funeral services and burial were held at Lake Crystal, Minn., on Tuesday, March 17th.
