Janesville Settlement (25 July 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Schwein of Janesville visited Mrs. Emma Bostwick and Mrs. Clark Hatton Wednesday.

Gene Beyer of Lean, Ill., and Miss Kathy Asplin of Carbondale, Ill., arrived Friday at the Craig Asplin home.  Mr. Beyer returned home Sunday night and Kathy remained for a week’s visit with her parents.

Mrs. Fred Barr and Patti and Scott, and Mrs. Lawrence Celar, went to Chicago Friday to visit at the home of the Bill Celars.  Mrs. Barr and children returned home Monday and Mrs. Celar remained for a longer visit with her son and his family.

Miss Marie Clintsman of Piney Ridge, Ky., Mr. and Mrs. Fred Clintsman, and Mrs. and Mrs. Dale Clintsman and son, spent Sunday at the James Goetz home in Stevens Point.

Mr. and Mrs. William Yutze of Janesville spent Sunday at the Evan Hatton and Frank Coryell homes. They were Sunday supper and overnight guests at the Clark Hatton home.

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Neilsen and family and Mr. and Mrs. Leondo Franz and family were Sunday dinner guests at the Harvey Schwarze home in Owen.  Casper and Foss Lewis of Chicago were afternoon guests there.

Mrs. Frank Pakiz and Mrs. Martin Kokaly spent Tuesday evening with Mrs. George Plautz.

Mr. and Mrs. Jake Dechman of Willard entertained relatives from Tigerton Sunday in honor of Mr. Dechman’s 85^th birthday.

Mrs. Duane Branstiter and children of Marshfield spent Monday with her parents, the Floyd Updykes.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Barr and family spent Wednesday at the Tom Barr home at Rice Lake.

Mrs. Frank Pakiz and Mrs. Martin Kokaly spent Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. John Popovich in Greenwood.

Mrs. Mary Barr spent several days recently in Manchester, Ia., visiting relatives and friends.

Miss Kathy Asplin of Carbondale, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. William Yutze of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. Craig Asplin of Greenwood, and Mrs. Emma Bostwick were Sunday supper guests at the Clark Hatton home.

Jim Bayuk of Willard spent Sunday night with Larry Pakiz.

Mrs. Philip Durnil of Chicago spent Monday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred McWherter, at Willard.
