Mrs. A.W. Hales took the seven o’clock train Friday morning for a week’s vacation with her daughter and family at Stanley. Mable Turner is looking after the household duties during the former’s absence.
The basket social at the schoolhouse last Friday night was postponed on account of the bad weather and roads.
Willie Lawrence did some papering for Sarah Lindsley last Thursday.
Wm. And Abe Vande Berg made a trip to Granton Saturday evening with Shanks team.
Wm. Lawrence helped John Vandeberg haul baled hay to Romadka Monday.
E.R. Lawrence was somewhat under the weather the first of the week.
Julius Voight delivered some hogs to Granton Monday.
Dan Timerson and wife took in the Riedel auction west of Granton on Monday.
Cleve Evans of Neillsville visited with Keith Parrett late last week.
There was a dance at Archie Garvin’s Wednesday night.
Abe Vande Berg and family spent Sunday at John Vande Berg’s.
Len Howard autoed through this vicinity on Monday.
Forest Rowe cut corn stalks for Ernest Rowe on Monday.
