Mrs. Zohn and grandson of Lomira have been visiting the Lindows during the past week.
The farewell party given on Otto Drescher Thursday was much enjoyed by all, also the return in the mud at 4 o’clock in the morning.
Fred Dopp reports more than ordinary sap conditions last week. The pails filled in less than a day and some bursting that he forgot to emplty.
The entertainment given in the No. 3 District schoolhouse was well attended and much enjoyed by all. Chas. Lindow and Harry Portz were awarded the prizes.
Louis Lindow purchased the Loyal Jordan farm, including some personal property for $5,800.
Hogs and calves have reached the unusual high prices again in spite of democratic times, potatoes however have gone democratic in Chili. Evidently hogs is hogs.
Mat Jensen purchased the Holstein bull calves from H. Portz.
Viorina Mundt had the misfortune of breaking her leg last week.
