Nowobielski, Andrew J. (30 NOV 1876 - 16 APR 1959)

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Francis Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Chapel at 10 a.m., Monday morning, April 20, 1959, for Andrew Joseph Nowobielski, 82, who passed away suddenly from a heart attack suffered on Thursday, April 16, 1959.

Mr. Nowobielski was born on Nov. 30, 1876 in Poland.  He came to America on Nov. 25, 1901, and for thirty-eight years operated a farm two miles east and ½ mile north of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), until December 1952 he retired and moved to Thorp City.

He was united in marriage on Oc. 7, 1913, to Katherine Wnek at St. Hedwig’s Church.

He leaves to mourn, his wife, four sons, Joseph of Chicago, Leon, Clarence and Henry of Thorp, and four daughters, Mrs. Ed (Frances) Larkowski of Chicago, Mrs. Al (Mary) Baginski of Chicago, Mrs. Mike (Christine) Niedzwiecki and Joanne Nowobielski of Thorp.

He was laid to rest in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.  Pallbearers were: Anthony Nowobielski, Roger Larkowski, Marion Wnek, Jerome Wnek, Robert Wnek, and Chester Strzok.
