Walsdorf, Louis P. (12 DEC 1887 - 4 MAY 1959)

Louis P. Walsdorf, 71, former hardware merchant, insurance salesman and Thorp Finance auction clerk, died at his home here at 9:00 o’clock Monday of a heart attack.  He had been confined to his home the past week with arthritis in his knee but could get around and was considered in good health.  His passing came as a shock to the entire community (Thorp, Clark Co., Wis.) where he was a lifelong resident.

Friends may call at the Thorp Funeral Home starting Friday at 1 p.m. until time of funeral services.

Funeral services will be held at St. Bernard’s Church in the city at 9:30 o’clock Saturday morning, May 9^th.  A Rosary service will be held at the Thorp Funeral Home Friday evening at 8:00 o’clock.  A complete obituary will be published next week.
