Mr. and Mrs. W. Beecher and 2 children returned here at Lynn from an extended stay at Stevens Point during the past winter. Mr. Beecher will resume his old job in O.W. Becker’s creamery.
Howard Erwin of Kilbourn, Wis. arrived Saturday and spent Easter at the home of T.F. Lee at Granton. Miss Ruth Lee left on Tuesday for Kilbourn to visit with the former’s parents for several days. From there she will go to Milwaukee and Palmyra to visit with Mrs. J.B. Agen (nee Beulah Hornbeck).
Miss Nygard returned to her home at Oshkosh after a several days visit at the Henry Sternitzky home.
Mrs. Henry Sternitzky returned the fore part of the week from her visit at Wausau and Mosinee where she visited with her son Robert.
Max Opelt went to Neillsville the fore part of the week and bought a drum and other musical instruments for his son Carl who plays in the Schoengarth orchestra.
Rose and Herman Konshak of Dorchester are visiting with their sister Mrs. Herman Riedel this week and took in the Easter dance Monday evening.
Miss Helen Warren of Black River Falls visited Mrs. Geo. Brooks several days this week.
Grandma Brooks visited with C. Brooks and family near Granton last week.
The Schoengarth orchestra furnished the music for the dance Monday night at the park. A large crowd took in the event.
Mrs. Geo. Brooks attended the birthday party at Mrs. D. Beeckler’s Saturday.
Lester Chapman, after a 2 month visit with his uncle, M.L. Chapman, left for his home at Oshkosh Wednesday of last week.
Mrs. Mot Osgood and two children went to Pittsville Tuesday to visit her mother, Mrs. Erickson.
Fred Hankey bought the house and lot owned by max Opelt and occupied by Jake Breseman. Mr. Breseman will move into the Jim Sternitzky house.
Fred Breseman is working in Marshfield since the first of this month.
It is reported there are several cases of smallpox at Lindsey and at Cary.
