Posda, Rosemary (22 DEC 1901 - 23 MAY 1959)
Mrs. George Posda of route 3, Stanley, at the Junction (Clark Co., Wis.), passed away suddenly on Saturday morning at her home. She was born Rosemary Kudingo at Withee, Wis., on Dec. 22, 1901, and lived with her parents until she was seven and then with her sister, Mrs. Andrew Kombrowski, until 1922 when she came to Stanley where she was employed. She was married to George Posda at St. Hedwig’s at Thorp in 1923 and since had lived in the Junction County, northeast of Stanley.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Stanley, of St. Bernadette’s Circle and of the Ladies Guild.
Funeral services were held at 10 o’clock Tuesday morning from St. Mary’s Church at Stanley with the Rev. George Mathieu officiating. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, five sons, Walter and Richard at home, Leonard, James and Florian of Chicago, and four daughters, Theresa of Chicago, Mrs. Lawrence (Ethel) Zurakowski of Thorp, Mrs. Louie (Louise) Skwierezynski and Mrs. Nick (Agnes) Skwierezynski, both of Chicago; two brothers, Frank of Ladysmith, and Joe of New Jersey, one sister, Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Kombrowski; also six step-sisters and one step-brother. One son preceded her in death in infancy.
