Radowitz, Benedict #2 (17 SEP 1877 - 21 MAY 1959)
Funeral services were held Monday morning in St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church here for Benedict Radowitz, 81, who died at his home May 21, 1959 of a heart attack. The Rev. Anthony Zvinklys of Hillsboro officiated with the Rev. Constance Chilicki of Thorp assisting. Burial was made in the family plot in Riverside Cemetery, Withee.
Pallbearers were S.M. Munson, Lionel Thibert, Lewis Gehrke, Kenneth Frost, Clarence Mertens and Jack Easter.
Mr. Radowitz was born Sept. 17, 1877 in Lithuania and came to America at the age of 21. He lived in Chicago, Ill. for 22 years before he purchased a farm near Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), where he has since resided.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Paul (Julia) Strohkirch, Owen; Mrs. Ray (Mary) Munson, on the home farm; and five grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death May 20, 1943.
