Rev. and Mrs. David Witte moved into the Immanuel Lutheran Church parsonage the first of the week.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard McCune and family of Fitchburg, Mass., visited Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Kuenkel and family from Friday until Monday. Mr. McCune is a nephew of Mrs. Kuenkel. He was a former resident of the Willard area. This is their first visit here in 17 years. Their oldest son is in the navy.
Relatives, neighbors and friends gave Mr. and Mrs. Howard Schultz and family a housewarming Saturday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and Mr. and Mrs. Norman Poppe attended a meeting at Westby Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux entertained their card club recently.
Mr. and Mrs. George Oleson and daughter came from Milwaukee Sunday and were overnight guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Thoma and family enjoyed a fishing trip over the weekend. Dennis Schultz and Franklin Mitte did the chores for them.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer and family Saturday evening.
Mrs. Martha Grap was a dinner guest of Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow Sunday.
Mrs. Robert Schlinkert entertained her birthday club Sunday afternoon and evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Claude Westphal of Neillsville visited Mr. and Mrs. Robert Schlinkert Sunday afternoon and evening.
Raymond Kalsow of Milwaukee spent the weekend at his home here, returning Sunday afternoon.
Mrs. Martha Hoffmann and her sister, Mrs. Emma Martin, both of Neillsville were recent overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer.
Mr. and Mrs. Art Wegner and Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert and Lebrecht Kalsow recently attended the birthday anniversary observance of Fred Timmler, near Greenwood. Other guests included relatives and friends from Greenwood and Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow visited his sister, Mrs. Martha Grap, one evening last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Hans Kalsow and son Sunday.
