The farmers are rapidly disposing of their hay crop and are only hampered by a shortage of cars along the line of the Milwaukee road.
Messrs. Elwood and Muir have their machine on the marshes south of here where they are baling 200 tons of hay that has been sold to Gardner & Son of Pittsville.
Tilton and Fisher are baling for the farmers on Rocky Run, while M. J. Vroman is baling his own.
Reports have it that the Kennedy farm owned by D. Winchel has been sold to a man from Fond du Lac.
It is also stated that H. Johnson will soon retire from his farm east of Lindsey.
Landlord and Mrs. Hays announce that on March 31st they will retire to private life after twelve years of faithful service to the traveling public. Mr. and Mrs. Hays will be sadly misses.
There is a good opening for some one to start a hotel at Lindsey.
