The friends of Ora Ingle of the township dropped in last Friday evening to remind him of his 22nd birthday.  Mr. Ingle is teaching in district No. 4.

 

Members of the M. W. A. met at the hall Sunday to have a group photo taken to send to absent Woodmen.  O’Brien the landscape photographer did the work.  It was a cold and stormy day but a good number turned out.

 

Mrs. D. E. Woodard, ex-postmistress of Progress rode up to Lindsey Monday with Earl O’Brien who had been down taking a photo of the school.

 

James Tilton is pressing his hay this week.

 

Orrol Van who has been very low for several weeks doesn’t gain as fast as his friends would like to have him.

 

A young man from Chicago is very sick at the Kramer home.  He is a brother of Mrs. Kramer.

 

Meeting of the Lindsey Telephone Co. at Jager’s hall was well attended and officers were elected.

 

Mr. Sherman who has had the switch since the installation of the line 8 years ago delined [sic] to continue the work after May 1st.

 

Ross Paulson was seen driving on our streets Tuesday.

 

R. Adams of Pittsville delivered some cows to H. Hahm Wednesday.  Mr. Adams takes possession of a large farm near Waupaca in March.

 

Brownie Prest walked to Amelia station Tuesday.
