Robinson, Emer A. (5 January 1905 - 11 August 1963)
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday for Emer A. Robinson, 58, of Neillsville, who died Sunday at his home. He had been in ill health for several years. The Rev. Jacob Grether conducted services from the United Church of Christ. Burial was made in the Neillsville City Cemetery.
Mr. Robinson was born January 5, 1905, in the Town of Weston, the son of Myrtle (Hoteling) Robinson and the late Earl Robinson. He attended rural school and Neillsville High School. He was a member of the graduating class of 1925.
He formerly was employed by the Neillsville Police Department and worked for Western Electric Company during World War II. In 1946, he joined in the operation of Warlum-Robinson Company in Neillsville. He retired in 1957 due to failing health.
On May 11, 1940, he was married to the former Bernice Altenburg in Sanborn, N. D.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Robinson; a brother, Glenn Robinson of Neillsville; and a sister, Mrs. Roy (Berris) Sonnenberg of Renton, Wash.
