Hubing, Henry W. (11 April 1886 - August 1963)
Funeral services for Henry W. Hubing, 77, Neillsville, were held Monday morning from St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville. The Rev. Fr. Bernard T. Kelly officiated and burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Mr. Hubing was born April 11, 1886, in the Town of Grant, and attended Clark County schools. He was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary (Peutz) Hubing.
He was married November 22, 1910, to the former Esther Hake and following their marriage they moved to Montana, where they homesteaded for 16 years. On their return to Clark County they located on a farm in the Town of York. In 1936, they moved to Neillsville and Mr. Hubing began working on the railroad. He retired in 1955. Mrs. Hubing died in 1949. On May 14, 1955, he was married to Mrs. Daisy (Noll) Reinart in Neillsville.
Mr. Hubing is survived by his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Dern of Neillsville, Mrs. Marvin (Arsula) Westphal of Norfolk, Nebr., and Mrs. George (Lorrain) Mellon of West Allis.
Twelve step-children also survive. They are: Mrs. Lillian Girard of Menasha; Martin Reinart of Alma Center; Mrs. Alfred (Susie) Schultz of Wind Lake; Peter Reinart of Merrillan; Clarence Reinart of Neillsville; Mrs. Myron (Irene) Turner of Kirkland, Ill.; Mrs. Wade (Marie) Lepke of Neillsville; William Reinart and Joseph Reinart of Tomah; John Reinart of Neillsville; Lawrence Reinart of Wind Lake; and George Reinart of Tomah. Other survivors are three sisters: Mrs. Clara Coppins of Ft. Atkinson, Mrs. Celia Root of Knowlton, and Mrs. Herbert (Marie) Halstead of West Union, Ia.; and four brothers, George, Charles and Arthur, all of Neillsville, and Bert of Circle, Mont.; and four grandchildren.
Pallbearers were: Elmer, and William Steltenpohl, Herman Hagedorn, Frank Luck, John and George Reinart.

McCauley of Des Moines, Ia.; Mrs. Celia Root of Knowlton; and Mr. and Mrs. Emil Entress of Janesville.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Georgas Funeral Home.
