Mrs. John Rausch spent Monday with friends at Marshfield.

 

Miss Louis Krause spent Monday with old friends at Neillsville.

 

Floyd Winn transacted business at Chili on Monday.

 

Arthur Stallman is home since late last week.

 

Mrs. Minnie Kurth came home on Monday from a 3 week visit with relatives at Marshfield.

 

Miss Edna Kemmeter came down from Loyal Saturday to spend Sunday with home folks.

 

Mrs. D.S. Rausch will entertain the O.E.S. Birthday Club tomorrow, Saturday afternoon.  All visiting O.E.S. are welcome.

 

W.L. Smith, manager of The Telephone Co., transacted business here Saturday.

 

Mrs. J.L. Parrett of York went to Marshfield Friday and entered St. Joseph’s Hospital to undergo a critical surgical operation.  Her son Keith and her brother Wm. O’Brien accompanied her over and are remaining with her.

 

Oswald Pischer left for Thief River Falls on Monday.

 

Miss Martha Kelpin is assisting Mrs. Clifford Winn with her household duties since Monday.

 

Mrs. S.F. Hewett spent Friday here at H.E. Williams’.

 

Miss Mary Schune was home from Neillsville on a weekend visit.

 

Gus Beilke went to Marshfield Tuesday to visit relatives.

 

Mike Klein came up from Chicago Tuesday to visit his father, Wm. Klein.

 

Walter Moldenhauer, A. Reuth, Frank Zorn and Ray Campbell were Neillsville visitors Tuesday.

 

Miss Emma Marth, who is teaching at Rhinelander this year, spent Sunday with friends here.

 

Norman Rowe,after a 3 month engagement here for A. Reuth, went home to Madison Monday.

 

Geo. Bandelow of Pine Valley was over on a horse buying trip on Monday.

 

Mrs. Geo Beeckler was an over Sunday guest at the E.A. Beeckler home.  Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Beeckler are now located at Independence, Iowa, where he has a mighty good job with a creamery company.

 

Dan Rausch and Leland Davis transacted business at Marshfield on Monday.

 

Webb Winn and family vacated the Warren Page house late last week and are now cozily settled in Mrs. Wright’s house.

 

Mrs. Bertha Frechette and her youngest daughter drove in from Sherwood Tuesday and took the train for St. Paul to visit Mrs. Frechette’s son Frank Scholtz and his family.  Frank writes that he is the proud daddy of a fine little boy since late last month.

 

Mrs. S. Bolton went to Mendota last week and returned on Friday with Mr. Bolton who had spent several months at the hospital there.  He is quite okay again.

 

Bert Morris of Oconomowoc, after a week’s stay here with his cousin Levi Morris, left for home on Tuesday with a carload of Guernsey and Holstein cows which he purchased in and about Nasonville.

 

Will Geisler, after a several days visit with his family at the George Howard home, returned to Greenwood last Saturday.

 

Mrs. Fred Sultrecht and daughter spent Saturday at Neillsville.

 

Miss Elsie Grassman left for Milo, N.D. Tuesday to accept a position in the mercantile business with her brother Albert of that place.

 

Arthur Berg, Floyd and Vera Pietenpol are home since Saturday from their trip and several month absence at, and near Pacific coast points.

 

Miss Pearl Wallace, after a several months stay here at the Ray Campbell home, returned to Stevens Point on Monday.

 

The basket Social at the school house last Friday evening was a very enjoyable social affair, as well as financial success.  The proceeds amounted to more than $20 and will be expended in the pursuit of recreation and sports for the children.
