Ray Waterman and family arrived Saturday night from Fargo, N.D. to visit with his father Mr. Frank Waterman for some time. Ray has not been here for 10 years and has changed some in appearance.
Mrs. Max Lange left last week for Dickinson, N.D. to join her husband.
Miss Vivian Degener and Miss Gladys Wage went to Granton Tuesday afternoon to attend a sugar party. They returned Wednesday morning.
G. Bertschinger’s deal with L. Harriman of Lake Mills was finally closed up Tuesday.
Joe Florence and Agnes Harriman were married last week at Grand Rapids.
Mrs. Wm. Krause transacted business at Chili Tuesday afternoon.
Chas. Mattalka of Marshfield put up some eave troughs for H. Koser Tuesday.
The monthly directors meeting of the Chili State Bank was held on Monday afternoon by Rev. Hasz of Granton.
The roads have been in a very poor shape the last few weeks, but are drying up nicely now, so traveling is getting better.
