Alaskon, Mr. & Mrs. A.M. (Gold - 4 JUL 1959)

Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Alaskon celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary Saturday, July 4^th, 1959.  A 12 o’clock dinner was served at the home of Mr. and Mrs. K.E. Lindquist to the immediate family and relatives.  Nancy K. Lindquist, a granddaughter, sang "Bless This House" and "The Lord’s Prayer," accompanied at the piano by Ingrid Lindquist, another granddaughter.

In the afternoon, open house was observed at the Alaskon home for relatives and friends.

Out of town guests included Mrs. Oscar Anderson of Warroad, Minn., Mr. and Mrs. Eric Anderson of Spring Valley, Minn., Mrs. Oscar Dugstad of Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Embert Roe, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Johnson and Mrs. Evelyn Enger of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Herbert Hanson of Rochester, Minn., and Mrs. Nels Hillstead of Ostrander, Minn.  The last two ladies were bridesmaids at the ceremony 50 years ago.
