Miss Elsie Breseman is spending a few days with her aunt Mrs. Schlinsog.
The windmill of Aug. Renner’s and barn of Oscar Johnson’s were struck by lightning Monday night, but not much damage was done.
George Deegan raised his barn Wednesday.
Fred Grassman and Amos Yankee are doing carpenter work for August Riemer.
R. T. Washburn and daughter Hazel took supper with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Preston Monday evening and took them for a ride in his new auto.
Elsie Kurth spent Monday at the Fred Grassman home.
Mrs. A. Malagoli of Sherwood passed here Sunday on her way home from Chicago where she has spent several months.
Rev. Reiff christened the little son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil Krause, Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt came out Wed. evening and took Frank and Mrs. Preston for an auto ride to Sherwood.
Miss Helen Anding was a caller at Philip Breseman’s Monday p.m.
Mr. F. W. Beyer, salesman for the McConnon Med Co., spent Tuesday night here.
