Ferdinand Gotter of Random Lake visited his parents, August Gotter’s, this week.

 

Albert Altenburg of Hazel Green, Wis. arrived last Thursday in response to a message of the sickness of his father John Altenburg, who is at this writing, much better.

 

Chas. Altenburg of Hazel Green, a brother of Mr. Altenburg, arrived the same day.

 

Herman Schoengarth’s Orchestra will play for the dance at Chili Saturday the 19th.

 

Miss Beatrice Howard makes weekly trips to Marshfield for vocal instructions.

 

Pearl Tilton of Lindsey was seen on our streets Saturday.  He and his family just recently returned from Ohio.

 

The Fred Hankey family spent Sunday at Riedel’s in Nasonville.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Preston, Mrs. John Breseman, Martin Krause, Oscar Breseman, and Mrs. Gust Marg went to Marshfield on Tuesday.

 

Ray Ure has bought a farm near Chili and will take possession of same in the near future.

 

Gilbert Sternitzky has been sick with an attack of quinsy for the past week.

 

Ed Ure left for Portland, Oregon last Saturday where he has a position on a government supply ship.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Dopp spent Saturday evening with Mr. and Mrs. R.T. Washburn.

 

Mrs. E. Montag and little son visited at Marshfield last week.

 

The dance was postponed last Saturday night on account of the very bad roads.
