Emil Krause was at Herman Krause’s Sunday.

Messrs. Smith and Frazier were at Granton on Saturday.

Emil Riedel, Fred Lustig and Ernest Porath went to Neillsville Monday.

George Deegan made a business trip to Neillsville Saturday.

Mrs. Frazier and Mrs. Smith and children visited at Moldenhauer’s on Sunday.

Emil Krause, Fred Lustig, Emil Riedel and Urban Smith visited at Deegan’s Sunday evening.

Aug. Krause is engaged in constructing a barn at his mother’s place and Mrs. Krause and the children have spent much of their time there also.

Kenneth Krego of Hayward spent a couple of days here last week.  He came down to see the school ma’am and not knowing the country very well, he mistook Trimberger’s bee house for the school building.  He found the right one later, however.

One of Otto Lustig’s children was badly bitten by a dog last Sunday.  The parents were visiting at Herman Riedel’s and the child, who was quite young, was severely bitten on the scalp and shoulder.  Dr. Schultz was called and found it necessary to take several stitches in order to close the scalp wound.  No further particulars have reached us at the time of writing.
