Mayenschein, Rose (29 DEC 1884 - 10 JUL 1959)
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cecil Ward at the Thorp Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, July 13th for Mrs. Wm. Mayenschein, 74, of the Town of Butler (Clark Co., Wis.), who passed away at the Stanley Hospital on Friday, July 10th, 1959 of a stroke.
The deceased, whose maiden name was Rose Belden, was born in Wisconsin on Dec. 29, 1884, and was a resident of the Town of Butler for many years. Her first husband, Isaac Butler, died in 1927. Wm. Mayenschein passed away in August 1955.
She is survived by one son, Curtis Mayenschein of Thorp; five daughters, (Doris) Mrs. Frank Vechiola, and (Lydia) Mrs. Geo. Pope of Chicago, (Lodean) Mrs. Walter Culp of Algoma and (Esther) Mrs. John Bizjak, and (Laverne) Mrs. Art Reinke of Thorp; one brother and two sisters, 23 grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
