Quite a number from here took in the play and dance at Granton Friday night.
Hale Davis and family, Myrtle Cole, F.W. Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Rella Osgood called at the Truman Davis farm Sunday afternoon.
Amelia Krause spent Sunday here with her ma.
Some of Geo. Frei’s friends gave him a pleasant surprise last Saturday evening and helped him celebrate his 52nd birthday. All present had a fine time.
The Harmon Huntley and Roy Lawrence families spent Sunday at Geo. Huntley’s.
Geo. Huntley expects to go soon to Eau Claire to consult physicians in regard to his son Vernie’s health.
Farmers around here have begun their spring work.
Wm. Foemmel and John Hefty have sent in their orders for new silos.
Rush Wentworth brought a wagon load of new farm machinery over to the farm here.
Mr. Tremelling bought a new covered buggy quite recently.
Will Foemmel bought a new double buggy, a disk harrow, and a corn binder.
Mrs. Tremelling returned Mrs. Root’s call Saturday afternoon.
