Richard Downer’s children have not got the whooping cough as was reported last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilke of Cunningham Creek farm visited their daughter Mrs. Frank Jahr, Saturday and Sunday.
Dr. Rath was called to attend Mrs. Lue Smith who was taken suddenly ill Wednesday morning, but is again about the house.
Mrs. Fred Handke and Mrs. Ernest Lee were callers at Lue Smith’s Friday evening.
Chas. Wilke motored out to Frank Jahr’s Sunday to spend the day with his parents and sister.
Fergie Richter’s little daughter Thelma is recovering from an attack of pneumonia.
Mrs. Ara Lee, Mrs. F. Johnson and daughter Elsie spent Saturday evening at Lue Smith’s.
The many friends of grandma Coil will be pleased to hear she is better, though still quite weak.
Richard Downer’s little daughter Daisy has been very ill, threatened with pneumonia, but is improving at present under the care of Dr. Ross.
T.F. Lee and daughter Ruth and Miss Florence Converse drove to Chili Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Price Beeckler and little son Allan of Dubuque, Ia. are spending Mr. Beeckler’s vacation with their parents and friends.
Arthur Berg is taking an enforced rest at the Marshfield Hospital. Dr. Ross accompanied hm there Monday, and his friends are glad to here he is doing well after the operation Tuesday morning.
