Greenwood Locals (12 September 1963)

 

Ernie Pekol left Saturday for Clearwater, Fla., after a 10-day visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Pekol.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Kolbrak and son, Larry of Altoona, and Miss Linda Schultz of Eau Claire visited Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Beyer.

 

Among those from Greenwood enrolled at the State College at River Falls are Roger Dillenbeck, David Friske, Terrance McConnell, Ronald Hendrickson and Ted Felting.

 

Thursday dinner guests at the Leon Kuester home were Mrs. Douglas Luther and daughter, Sandra, of Junction City, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kuester and daughter, Loretta, of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Matkovich and grandson, Kelly Kirn, of Willard.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Quast of Milwaukee spent the weekend with relatives.  Sunday the Quast’s and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie were dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Quast’s brother, Godfrey Dyre and his family.

 

The Rev. and Mrs. Orval Egbert and son, Eddie, attended the 80th anniversary observance of the Ebenezer United Church of Christ held Sunday evening in Chilton.
