Mrs. Geo. Beaver spent Tuesday at Neillsville.
Mr. A. Wendorf of Chili transacted business her Tuesday.
Mrs. Geo Rose and daughters spent Saturday at Marshfield.
Mrs. Chas. Neinas and daughter spent Saturday at Chili.
Harry Hatch of Staples, Minn. is here visiting his mother, Mrs. A. Hatch and friends, since last Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Neinas and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bergeman autoed to Marshfield Sunday and visited friends.
Edwin Grobe came over from Chili Saturday and made an over Sunday visit at Herman Garbisch’s.
Mrs. Eugene Crandall and children are visiting at Strum since Tuesday.
Mrs. Fred Nemitz, after an extended visit at Herman Riedel’s, went home to Neillsville on Tuesday.
Mrs. Mike Grasser returned on Monday from a several days visit with friends at Marshfield.
Miss Margareth Thiede is home from Woodville, Ohio, where she is attending college, since Saturday.
Mrs. Will Hubing is enjoying a visit from a sister and the latter’s daughter who are here from Milwaukee, since last Friday.
Miss Lillie Shapiro entertained several out of town relatives who came by rail, at dinner yesterday.
Geo. Hart and family autoed to and spent Sunday with relatives at Mosinee.
Paul Scholtz and Martin Garbush made a business trip to Marshfield by rail on Monday.
Clyde Smith of Baraboo, a former York resident, after a visit with relatives and old friends here, left for Chetek late last week.
R.C. Beecher is re-painting his residence and doing it up brown.
Wm. Storm is outwardly beautifying his place of business, putting on some new siding, re-painting, etc.
Mrs. Fred Cole, with Mrs. hale Davis and son Robert, drove to the county seat Saturday.
E.R. Wonser and family autoed to Neillsville on Saturday.
Mrs. Chas. Chapel and little daughter of Marshfield came over Saturday evening by auto with her brother Roy Hart who had run over on business that afternoon.
Ed Schroeder is building a fine garage on his premises for the housing of his touring car.
Herman Schoengarth was the boss carpenter who superintended the building of our combined auto and woodshed last week.
"Grandpa" Fred Schwerten, in attempting to lead his horse by an auto Sunday morning, had the creature take fright and run away. He, holding on, was thrown to the ground and dragged, and losing his hold was run over by the buggy. C. Krause, seeing the accident, rant to his assistance and recapturing the horse, drove about with the old gentleman to complete his canvass in delivering milk. He was not thought to be seriously injured, but before night alarming symptoms developed and he has since been confined to his bed, suffering considerable and causing his family much anxiety.
