Mrs. Fred Foemmel has been quite sick again.
Mrs. Ackerman went to Chili last Wednesday to see her new grandson at Herman Roehl’s, who was born May 6th.
Joe Frei is working for his uncle Joe in Levis.
Jennie and Nora Ackerman spent Sunday at Wm. Schoengarth’s.
Mrs. Johnson and baby Lois spent Friday afternoon at Effie Davis’.
Paul Garbisch and family, Will Foemmel and family, Mr. and Mrs. Ackerman called on Mrs. Fred Foemmel on Sunday.
Truman Davis and family, John Pietenpol and family helped Frank Davis celebrate his birthday last Sunday.
Rush Wentworth and Truman Davis have bought a corn planter from H. Henning in Chili.
E.R. Wonser and family took supper with Al Nonhof and family last Sunday.
A band of horse traders camped on Albert Davis’ corner last Sunday night and again on Monday.
Nonhof’s, Pietenpol’s and Daughhetee’s people took in the dance at Granton Saturday evening.
Mr. Alton is hauling home his lumber which he had sawed last winter. He talks of selling his home in Neillsville and coming back on the farm here.
Tessie Sweet spent several days here helping Effie Davis clean house.
Geo. Frei goes out sawing wood with his marching. He cut wood for Lou Moh.
