Przybylski, Richard F. (12 MAR 1938 - 15 AUG 1959)
Funeral services were conducted by Father F. Disher, pastor of St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church, Thorp, at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 20, 1959, for Richard F. Przybylski, 21, son of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Przybylski. Burial was made in St. Hedwig’s New Cemetery.
Richard, with four companions, was boating at Fox Lake near McHenry, Ill. on Thursday, Aug. 13th when a boat mishap occurred, causing skull a fracture and brain a concussion to the youth. He had undergone brain surgery at an Evanston, Ill. hospital where he died in a coma on Saturday, Aug. 15, 1959 at 7:15 p.m.
Pallbearers were Roger Benzschawel, James Pabich, Richard Pabich, Roger Olejniczak, James Lukasiewicz and Joe Przewoznik.
Young Przybylski attended Thorp High School and was presently employed as a mechanic at the Ford Garage in Thorp.
Richard was born at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. on March 12, 1938, and is survived by his parents; one sister, Mrs. John (Florence) Briski, Withee; and one brother, Thomas at home.
Out of town guests were from Chicago, Berwyn, Wheaton, Ill., Greenwood, Withee, Owen, Marshfield, Lublin, Chippewa Falls, Cadott, Boyd, Eau Claire, Willard and Stanley.
