Kowalczyk, Rosalie (25 AUG 1959)
Miss Rosalie Kowalczyk, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Kowalczyk, and Chester Goebel Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Goebel, all of Gilman, were married Tuesday, Aug. 25, 1959 in St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church here. Performing the double ring ceremony was Father John Dzurko.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown of nylon tulle over satin, styled with a lace bodice, Sabrina neckline and long tapered sleeves. Her skirt was fashioned with a lace peplum and tiers of tulle. Crescent shaped sequin clips held her silk illusion fingertip veil and she carried a colonial bouquet of white carnations, white stephanotis centered with an orchid.
Attending the bride were Mrs. Jack Goebel and Miss Carol Kowalczyk wearing ballerina length gowns of frosted yellow lace styled with fitted sleeveless bodice and scoop necklines. The empire waistline was accented with three rows of ribbon. Matching coronet of braid held a blusher veil and each carried colonial bouquets.
The groom’s attendants were Jack and Robert Goebel. Ushers were Chester Junak and Aloysius Kostick.
The reception took place at Koolmo’s Ballroom, Gilman, from 2 to 6 p.m.
The bride’s mother wore a blue lace afternoon dress with white accessories and had a corsage of pink and white carnations. The groom’s mother wore a brown cotton afternoon dress with white accessories and had a corsage of white carnations.
The couple is now at home on the groom’s farm near Gilman.
