Fred Dopp and Louis Faber transacted business in Chili Tuesday.
Gus Lindow will put in wire connections in the near future.
John Henning is exposed to the auto fever, he was out in his brother Jake’s new machine on Sunday.
Runaways seem to be the latest in these parts. Louis Kleinschmidt had quite a lively one when he returned from Heathville with his housekeeper Mrs. Brown Sunday. The horeses became frightened on the corner of No. 3 District Schoolhouse and ran south at a fierce gait. Lou gained control of them before they ran a quarter of a mile. The top and the back of the seat fell off just as he stopped them. No further damage was done.
On Sunday when Emil Bealer who is here from North Dakota was visiting Alfred Reisner’s, the latter proposed to hitch up his horse and take Emil with him to see his best girl. The horse became frightened of the top buggy and ran to the road where he turned so short that the buggy was upset and with Emil’s help, he was able to stop the horse and save the buggy from being smashed to pieces. Only slight damages were done. Better sew on the blinds again Alfred.
The runaway that we had a few weeks ago did not go on record and does not interest us in the least.
Louis Lindow has a lively turnaround every month.
The East Lynn reporter is planning on laying a pipeline and making connections with Eide’s Factory to transfer the milk from a 2-year-old heifer which has from all indications will be a record breaker.
