Stelter, Sandra Jean (Marriage –1963)
Sandra Jean Stelter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Stelter of Rt. 3, Neillsville, became the bride Saturday of Richard Lee Kren, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Kren, of Neillsville, in a double ring ceremony performed by the Rev. Norman Lindloff in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a white lace ballerina-length gown for her wedding. The fitted Basque bodice was styled with a sweetheart neckline and three-quarter-length sleeves. A shoulder-length veil cascaded from a crown of white flowers and seed pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of pink roses and white carnations.
Miss Judy Kren, sister of the groom, served as maid-of-honor. Miss Linda Stelter, sister of the bride was her bridesmaid.
The groom was attended by James Schultz of Watertown as bestman. Groomsman was Lee Buske of Watertown. Ushers were James Raine and Frederick Stelter, Jr.
One hundred twenty guests attended a reception at the Stelter farm home.
Mr. and Mrs. Kren are 1963 graduates of Neillsville High School. She has been employed in Memorial Hospital and Mr. Kren has employment in a furniture store in Jefferson.
