Swierkowski, Victoria (16 AUG 1881 - 24 NOV 1959)
Mrs. Victoria Swierkowski, 78, passed away at her home on Tuesday morning, Nov. 24, 1959.
Victoria Nowacki was born on Aug. 16, 1881 in Poland. She was united in marriage to Frank Swierkowski.
Funeral services were held at the St. Hedwig’s Chapel on Nov. 28, 1959, at ten o’clock with Rev. Connie Chilicki officiating. Burial was in the new St. Hedwig’s Cemetery.
Surviving are three sons, Anton and Steve of Thorp, and Stanley of Minneapolis; and three daughters, Rose of Thorp, Mrs. Edward (Sophie Cheze of Bensenville, Ill., and Verna Zukowski of Thorp, and 7 grandchildren.
The pallbearers were Basil Harycki, Walter Juzwiak, Frank Penkala, Joseph Kramicz, Bernard Prokopiak, and Joseph Harycki.
Out of town guests included Rev. S.A. Krakowiecki, Miss Mary Siegler, Dodge; Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cheze, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Cheze, Bensonville, Ill.; Miss Mary Cheze, Belvidere, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Swierkowski and sons Roger and Erling, Minneapolis; Mrs. Ernest Lind, Mrs. Joseph Piasecki, Rhinelander; Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Krakowiecki, Lublin; Mr. Stanley Klasinski, Mrs. May Kirst, Stevens Point; Mr. Mike Krakowiecki, Mrs. Laurence Krakowiecki, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Herman and Miss Barbara Herman, Gilman.
