R.E. Lawrence purchased a new double buggy at Neillsville on Saturday.
Abie Turner and Melvin Lawrence are building a new hog pen for W. Rowe.
Vivian Brooks closed a successful term of school in district No. 2 Friday. The picnic which was held in Ernest Rowe’s woods was largely attended and all had a good time. Ice cream and lemonade were served with dinner.
The Children’s Day program in the M.E. Church was largely attended.
John Vande Berg delivered some veal calves to Granton on Monday.
Fern Alton spent Sunday in this vicinity.
Grace Campbell has been visiting relatives and friends in this vicinity the past week.
Phil Hales, wife and son Myron spent Sunday at A.W. Hales’ and attended the Children’s Day program in the afternoon.
Jerry Davis and family came over from Marshfield and attended the exercises in the M.E. Church.
There was a dance at Hein town Friday night.
Dan Timerson and family went to Collie Creek fishing on Sunday. They caught a big mud turtle, but failed to catch any fish.
