Granton (7 November 1963)

A UNICEF program, suggested by four members of a Sunday school class of the Granton Methodist Church and adopted by the other classes, resulted in a collection of $17.75 the evening of October 30.

This was the first attempt of such a program in Granton and is of interest to note that the amount collected will furnish 890 children with one cup of milk for 10 days, or will save 71 children from blindness.

The children, taking part in the house-to-house calls, were given a treat at the church.
