Miss Edna Kemmeter spent the first of the week at Stevens Point.

 

Dr. S.G. Schwarz of Humbird transacted business here on Monday.

 

Dr. Rath made a professional trip to Marshfield last Friday.

 

Mrs. Max Gelmer and little son are spending the summer with relatives at Denmark, Wis.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Grasser visited Neillsville friends Tuesday.

 

G.E. Amidon transacted business at Delavan Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

J.H. Lowe of Neillsville transacted business here Tuesday.

 

Miss Hattie Drescher went to ?? Saturday to spend some time with her Aunt Mrs. Gron.

 

Helmuth Beyer and Arthur Garbush transacted business at the county seat Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Gerzemehle, her son Louis and daughter Amanda are home from Owatonna, Minn. since Saturday.

 

Ross Paulson came home from Dakota Tuesday with another car load of horses.

 

Principal Max Gelmer is attending summer school at Madison since Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Dan Gluch and little daughter Donna spent Saturday with Dan at the Marshfield hospital.

 

Mrs. Gustie Breed spent last Friday and Saturday with Mrs. F. Woodward at Neillsville.

 

Byrl Winn went to Grand Rapids late last week and made an over Sunday visit.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jahr and children visited at the Wilke home south of Neillsville several days of last week.

 

Mrs. Laura Mason and Mrs. Elizabeth Fuller drove out last Friday and spent the day with Mr. and Mrs. Will Meddaugh on the Dr. Ross farm.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Cota and two children arrived here Tuesday from the Isthmus of Panama to visit at her uncle Geo. Hollenbach.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Hiles of Omaha, Neb. after a week’s visit here at the John Hiles home, left for Omaha again Saturday.

 

Lloyd Hiles came up from Chicago and made an over Sunday visit at the John Hiles home.

 

Mrs. M.E. Beaulieau of Osseo arrived here Saturday for a visit with her mother, Mrs. L. L. Ayers, and her brother, Ernest Ayers.

 

Mrs. albert Davis entertained the improvement Club last Friday.

 

Fred Zille went to Ripon on Friday.

 

Harold Rose came home from Baraboo last Saturday.

 

Floyd Pietenpol and Leslie Todd were Neillsville visitors Saturday.

 

Ruth Lee came home Saturday from a week’s visit at Oconto Falls.

 

Mrs. Eva Canfield visited Neillsville friends last Saturday.

 

Mrs. W.D. Rose visited relatives at Madison and Milwaukee between Saturday and Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Sam Coq??kand’s daughters Leah and Ella have been visiting relatives at La Crosse since last week Wednesday.

 

Mrs. Mary Hubing is visiting relatives in Chicago since Saturday.  She expects to get home in two weeks, accompanied by her daughter Marie, who ahs been there the past year attending school.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Neinas and Mr. and Mrs. Gust Bergeman and children autoed to Appleton in the Neinas car Saturday and remained until the early part of this week, visiting relatives and friends.

 

Mrs. Minnie Kurth came home on Saturday after a several days visit with relatives at Marshfield.

 

Geo. Wilding autoed to Spencer Saturday and took Fred Schwantes and family up for a wedding of a relative of Fred’s.

 

Miss Amelia Trimberger came home Monday from Greenwood whither she went last week Wednesday to attend the wedding of a relative.

 

Mrs. Wm. Schafer of the Ridge is on a visit between Plymouth and Sheboygan relatives and friends since Monday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nick Flamming, going home to Denmark after a visit at Duluth, Minn., stopped off her last week Thursday and spent a day with Principal Max Gelmer.

 

Ed Soles, who underwent another operation at the Marshfield hospital last week, is reported as doing nicely.

 

The Clemens Kuechenmeister, Geo. Wilding, Otto Hantke, Otis Slocomb and Louis Hantke families, with Sam Cook who is temporarily batching it, picnicked at Wedges Creek Sunday.

 

John Lynn, after a several weeks visit at the John Kintzele home, left for Grand Rapids Monday to accept a clerkship at the Witter Hotel in that city.

 

Mrs. Melvina Wright is visiting at the farm home of her niece Mrs. Hattie Imig, at Bloomington, Mich., since early this week.  She will undoubtedly remain all summer.

 

Mr. and Mrs. D.S. Rausch and son Roderick, Mr. and Mrs. A.M. Tompkins and Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Baer took an auto trip through the northern part of the county, returning by way of Marshfield on Sunday.

 

Miss Laura Gerzemehle, who has been sewing with Miss Clara Drescher at Neillsville, is home since the first of the week.

 

Mrs. Rice D. Davis, who is at the Madison Sanitarium, is recovering her health and Rice is looking forward for her prospective homecoming next week.

 

Mrs. G.E. Amidon went to Black River Falls last Friday with her daughter Elva, who is visiting her grandparents at Melrose, her grandpa Amidon meeting her at Black River.

 

Mrs. Howard Wentworth of Sparta, together with a Mrs. Wentworth of Edgerton, after a 5 day visit at the Rush Wentworth home, departed on the return trip yesterday.

 

Mrs. J.H. Brooks and daughter Jessie, and Mrs. Emery Crosby and son Frederick, drove over from Neillsville last Friday and took supper with Dr. and Mrs. P.M. Ross.

 

A little 3-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Chrisman of South Grant, through an accident while at play Monday, suffered fractured ribs and such serious internal injuries that it is feared they will prove fatal.

 

Elmer Knickle and family, H. Eide and family, Mr. and Mrs. H. Albrecht, Mrs. A.J. Knorr, Mrs. L.G. Morris, Roy Hart, Perry Thayer, Mrs. Leland Davis, Miss Jessie Morris, Mrs. F. Baer and daughter Helene, and Bernice Stockwell autoed to Marshfield Friday and enjoyed the day with friends and viewing the street parade and Sparks circus.
