Mrs. Harry Eide and Peter Faber went to Mendota Monday and returned with Mrs. P. Faber who has been there for treatment for some time, Tuesday morning.

 

Anton Hogenson has the wall under the store building and house finished, also the plastering of those new rooms upstairs.  H. Ketel was the artist and did a very creditable job.

 

Mrs. Marth Berger from Neillsville visited with Mr. and Mrs. H. Dietrich over Sunday to attend the baptism of the baby girl.  She visited with Miss Vivian Degener Tuesday when she left for Neillsville.

 

Stones are being hauled to build the foundation wall for the Lutehran church to be erected this summer.

 

Fred Heines is going to have a barn built this summer.  He is putting up the foundation now.

 

Fred Dopp, with his daughter, went to Milwaukee Sunday night where Fred will have his daughter’s eyes examined by Dr. Schneider, the specialist.

 

Clark Waterman made his regular trip to Granton Sunday, taking in the ballgame at Lynn in the afternoon.

 

L.A. Reichert made a business trip to Granton Monday.  Louis missed the 2 o’clock and had to go home on the freight.

 

Fred Davis of Granton was a business caller here Tuesday afternoon.

 

Mr. Wentworth looked over the town Monday afternoon.

 

The Equity shipped a car of stock Tuesday morning.

 

P.N. Christensen was in town on Monday.
