Davis, Myrtle (28 Nay 1881 - 17 November 1963)
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Gilbertson Funeral Home in Granton for Mrs. Myrtle Davis, 82, of Granton, who died Sunday in Neillsville. The Rev. Lloyd Mauer of the Methodist Church officiated. Burial was made in the Windfall Cemetery, Granton.
Mrs. Davis, the former Myrtle Osgood, was born May 28, 1881, in the Town of Grant. She had resided in the Granton area her entire lifetime. She was educated in the Windfall School.
On November 19, 1903, she was married in Granton to the late Kearney Davis, who died in 1957.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Maurine) Gluch of Neillsville, and Mrs. Daniel (Charlotte) Garbisch of Granton. Other survivors are six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and a brother, Rella Osgood of Granton.
Pallbearers were: Durward Schwarze, E. L. Witte, Marvin Garbisch, William Schmidtke, Bernard Pietenpol and Robert Spry. Organist was Mrs. Leland Garbisch.
