Bertsch, Alexander J. (30 MAR 1888 - 8 APR 1961)

Early Tuesday morning Mr. and Mrs. Jack Gummerson, Mrs. Clarence Kitze, Mrs. Harold Parker and Clarence Couillard drove to Blue Earth, Minn., where they attended funeral services held later in the forenoon for Alexander J. Bertsch.

Mr. Bertsch, 73, was the father of Mrs. George Gardner, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and arrived here only a week ago today when his daughter got him to make his future home here.  Several weeks ago he suffered what was thought to be a heart attack.  Saturday forenoon while shopping at Weddig’s Drug Store, Owen, he was fell be another attack with death being instant.

I can confirm that Alexander John Bertsch was born 30 March 1888 in 65 Lumsden Street, Glasgow to Frederick Charles and Agnes (nee Rowan) Bertsch.)
