Miss Frances Brooks returned home last week from Morristown, S.D.

Mr. and Mrs. E. Montag transacted business in Chili Friday evening.

A Reuth of Sun Prairie was a business caller at this place the latter part of last week.

E.F. Brooks returned Monday from his trip to Milwaukee where he visited his daughter, Mrs. R.C. Norman.

Mr. and Mrs. Helm and daughter returned from the wedding at Forest Junction the fore part of the week.

R.T. Washburn autoed to Stevens Point Sunday with his family and Mr. and Mrs. Wella Beecher and children where they visited with Mrs. Beecher’s parents.  Little Merlin remained there to visit several days with his grandparents.

Mr. and Mrs. Will Opelt and little son of DeKalb, Ill., arrived Thursday and are visiting the Max Opelt family.  Will will start in the mercantile business at Lindsey after the Fourth.

Ed Ure has returned from the West and is helping his father with the building of his new barn.

John Ure transacted business at Neillsville Saturday.

Frank heal and daughter Vista of Marshfield visited the R.T. Washburn family on Tuesday.

Mrs. Emma Helm, after a several weeks visit with her parents, returned to Milwaukee last week.

R.T. Washburn and John Breseman autoed to Neillsville Tuesday afternoon.

Max Opelt autoed to Marshfield Monday afternoon.

Henry Sternitzky’s are entertaining company from away this week.

Mrs. Wm. Simpson and daughter Opal visited Mrs. R.T. Washburn last Wednesday.

Mrs. John Schafer and children left last week for Wausau for a visit with her parents.  They returned Monday.

John Ure had a raising for his new barn on Monday.

Max Opelt and family attended the Waterman-Beeckler wedding at Granton on Monday.
